Quickly recognize illegal or improper notarial verbiage and know exactly what to do. All students will actually perform several different types of notarizations so at the end of the workshop, you’ll know when it’s okay to proceed and when it’s not. Loan Signer 101: Considering that attendees have already completed a Notary Public Education course, this half-day workshop involves a basic review of California Notary law, proper ID and the use of Credible Witnesses. Like the Notary Essentials 101 Workshop, this class also includes hands-on opportunities to perform faux notarizations however, documents are more typical for a loan signing such as Deeds of Trust that involve a Single Signer, POA, Trust, Split Signing and Multiple Signers. Students will also learn how to properly attach a loose Certificate and how to present loan documents using the LS101 “First Five Method ” . Your instructor will explain the “Rescue-Me-Three “   the only three simple answers  any Signing Agent needs to know when replying to tough questions at the signing table. This workshop also comes with amenities and guarantees a fun day ending with the confidence all Notaries need to confidently conduct any Loan Signing. Field Training

Mock Loan Signing Experience:  Meet with a Certified Coach one-on-one and learn how to properly present any set of loan documents! Your meeting will start with instruction on how a Professional Signing Agent always clearly sets the tone of the meeting with their introduction and overview of their role as a Loan Signing Agent and Notary Public. Then, you and your Coach will confirm the rules about valid ID and learn what one document the Notary compares it to at the signing table. With a faux set of loan documents, your Coach will show you the most effective way to present any set of loan docs using our "First Five Method". The Coach also explains our "Rescue-Me-Three", the three simple replies all professional signing agents use to answer those tough questions at the signing table.  You’ll learn proper notarization techniques, journal entries and how a typical loan signing wraps up.  It’s easy when someone shows you how!  Fee includes 2-3 hours with a Certified Coach one-on-one, all materials and tools, and meeting at a neutral location mutually agreed upon.  Contact us to Make an Appointment    $285

Live Ride-Along: We offer this option because it’s requested most often, however, truth and integrity is our mantra and it‘s our opinion that students don’t really get what they need out of the experience: The entire event just happens so fast that trainees miss a lot of important information. With this in mind,  if you're still interested in a Ride-Along with a working, Professional Signing Agent Coach which includes a pre-signing meeting, an audit of a live loan signing (refinance) and a meeting afterward to go over the documents and notarizations plus an opportunity to ask questions, please email us and we’ll refer you to an available LS101 Coach. Fees charged for Live Ride-Alongs are set by each Coach but generally start at about $250. This option is available by referral only - please do not contact a LS101 Coach directly.

• Students interested in One-on-One Training for 30 days or more are typically industry professionals who are already familiar with the business (such as a Real Estate professional or Loan Officer). Many choose mentoring package because they don‘t care to participate in a class or workshop environment and have specific goals and time lines in mind. Students prefer to work with an experienced Coach to train and guide them quickly to their goals.  Does this sound like you? 
  
  Completion of an Assessment and prerequisite training is required  before acceptance into a Personalized Mentor Program.  Please contact us with your request and details of your goals. Packages are custom-tailored to the student’s needs and desires and therefore, drives cost. There is commonly a wait List of up to 45 days. Fees start at $995 for our smallest package (30 days) and include a comprehensive evaluation, a Mock Loan Signing Experience, a live Ride-Along, unlimited email support for 6 months, unlimited at-the-table rescue calls for 6 months, a marketing strategy plan that includes assistance with Business Cards, Website development and profile development, edocs training and our exclusive and comprehensive Resource List.

  Corporate or In-House Training Options include the California Mandatory Education class given by a qualified instructor from an approved vendor and administration of the State Exam afterward by CPS Proctors. Clients requesting this option include well-known companies such as FedEx Kinkos, UPS Franchise Stores, large Lenders such as IndyMac and Countrywide, the San Diego Association of Realtors, large Legal Firms and various California Law Enforcement agencies and their Mortgage Fraud Units.   Per Student Fee depends on number of students attending (of course, cost becomes less with increased attendance) but usually starts at about $95 per student with a 25 student minimum and will include the cost of the CPS Proctors and a Live Scan representative.
